Isabella Saraceni is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice interweaves painting, sculpture, photography, and bookmaking. Her work centers on mortality, death, and rituals to live in collaboration with her active dying and the dying of others. Isabella earned her BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Connecticut and is currently an MFA Candidate in Painting and Drawing at OSU. Her work has been exhibited in various group and solo exhibitions nationally and internationally at VAIS Gallery in Storrs, CT, Palazzo Bargali in Florence, Italy, and Five Point Annex Gallery in Torrington, CT. Fellowships, trainings and grants from Livable Futures, The International End of Life Doula Association, The Greater Columbus Arts Council, and others have supported her research and creative work.
